This Pulitzer prize-winning newspaper columnist received letters from the serial killer David Berkowitz, aka Son of Sam, during Berkowitz’s murderous spree from 1976 to 77’. Berkowitz was captured by police exactly 30 years ago to the day on August 10, 2007.
