Roger Bart

Poor Dee Snider! Due to a Chunnel delay, Dee missed his flight, was stuck in France, and missed the show. So in the spirit of Father’s Day, Dee’s son, Jesse Blaze Snider, sat in for him. Luckily, talent and personality run in the family.

Roger Bart, star of HOSTEL II, joined Debbie, Tony, and Jesse to discuss his new movie and his upcoming Broadway musical version of YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, in which he will be playing the notorious doctor. Bart gained fame as a Broadway actor specifically for his role of “Carmen Ghia” in Mel Brook’s THE PRODUCERS. The role got him a Tony nomination, and Bart reprised the role in the 2005 movie. What a shift Bart made to play the psychotic Stuart in HOSTEL II. We were all amazed by Bart’s intense character transformation in HOSTEL: PART II. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, the Mel Brook’s musical will be opening in New York City in October so be sure to check it out. And if you can’t make it to New York City, FANGORIA RADIO will be there to help fill you in! And if you have been hiding in a cave and haven’t seen it yet, go see HOSTEL: PART II.
