Steve Niles and David Slade in person The hype is building about the new vampire film 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, which will release to theaters on October 19th. FANGORIA RADIO was able to get the inside scoop from the film's writer and the director who both joined us live in studio. Writer Steve Niles created the comic book, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, and wrote the screenplay for the movie. Director David Slade turned heads last year with his thriller HARD CANDY, and is happy to be helming this new vampire story. Together the two have created the movie 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, a terror filled tale of vampires in a sunless Alaskan town.
